The Chinese headquartered tech brand, Xiaomi, widely known for it’s budget smartphones, has now unveiled a home projector in China at an affordable price on it’s crowdfunding platform. The projector is called Mi Home Projector Lite (Youth Edition) which is priced CNY 2,199 (Approx. Rs. 22,400) in China, whereas it will be available at retail price of CNY 2,499 (Approx. Rs. 25,500) reportedly after the process of crowdfunding concludes. It is only available in white color variant. The highlight feature of the projector is it’s capability to project the content from 40-inches to 200-inches with 1.2:1 aspect ratio, viz-a-viz it’s size of 15cm height.
Mi Home Projector Lite (Youth Edition) can project HD content of 1080 pixel resolution, thanks to it’s 500 ANSI Lumens lamp. The LED lamp of the projector is claimed by the company to last for 30,000 hours, which is higher than the company’s laser projector, Mi Laser Projector, which lasts for only 25,000 hours. In terms of speakers, the projector embodies integrated speakers with Dolby Atmos and DTS features. In terms of connectivity, the tiny projector is given the USB port, HDMI and AUX port. The projector embodies intelligent voice control, which means the user wouldn’t only need a remote control to operate it. It also comes with inbuilt Mi TV to help users watch latest movies and Television episodes.
