The Chinese smartphone brand, Tenor or 10.or, which penetrated into the Indian smartphone industry with it’s Tenor G smartphone last year, is now in the news for it’s next possible launch with 10.or G2. Atleast it’s latest appearance on phone benchmarking platform, GeekBench, hints at the news. The brand which launched it’s first smartphone last year is seemingly ready with it’s next presentation tipped to be the successor of 10.or G or Tenor G launched last year. As per the scoreboard on GeekBench, the smartphone has a decent score of 1329 on the single core scoring and 4788 on the multi core scoring. It imperates to be a mid range smartphone with a chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, which is reportedly incorrect. The base frequency of 1.61GHz strikes off the possibility of the phone being powered by Snapdragon 660 as it’s too low for it. The possible correct version of Snapdragon chipset is Snapdragon 636 which looks pretty much suitable for the base frequency of 1.61GHz. The GeekBench revelation also suggests that it would be powered by an Octa-Core processor with 8 cores.

The other details revealed in the GeekBench revelation is the RAM power. As per the revelation, the 10.or G2 will be fuelled with a 6GB RAM which is 2GB higher than it’s predecessor, 10.or G. Few speculations suggest the smartphone will bring two more variants with 3GB and 4GB RAM for the consumers to choose from based on their budget. The Android version it suggests is the Android 8.1 Oreo but looking at the last year’s arrangement for 10.or G to receive the update for Android Oreo even when launched with Android 7.0 Nougat, the 10.or G2 may be made available for Android Pie update in future.
