Honor’s unknown Model with 6-inch HD+ Display appears on TENAA, Possibility to be the Honor Play 8

The subsidiary brand, Honor, of the renowned Chinese tech giant, Huawei, is planning to launch an entry level or a mid range smartphone soon, reportedly, to be the Honor Play 8. The smartphone has, allegedly, appeared on the Chinese certification authority, TENAA, under the codename JAT-AL00 and JAT-TL00, revealing some of the specs and features of the device. The report on JAT-AL00 reveals some of the specs and features of the smartphone. The smartphone is likely to bear a 6.088-inch display with screen resolution of 1560x720pixels. The smartphone is likely to pack a single lens 13-megapixel camera sensor at the back, while the selfie camera bearing the similar single lens camera module but with 8-megapixel sensor.

Under the hood, the smartphone may be powered by an Octa-Core processor, clocked at 2.3GHz, paired with 3GB RAM. The inbuilt storage is reported to be either 32GB or 64GB, both of which may be expandable to up to 512GB using a MicroSD card. It is reported to pack not-so-impressive 2,920mAh battery. The device is reported to weigh 150g and the dimension is reported to be 156.28×73.5×8.0mm.

The color variants that TENAA has revealed include Black, Blue, Gold and Red. We couldn’t find an image for the smartphone revealed by TENAA but the speculation states that it may be released soon. The smartphone’s real name is yet not revealed officially but rumours has it that it may be the Chinese brand’s Honor Play 8. The smartphone may be globally launched as Honor 8s which could be the successor to the May month launched Honor 7s/Honor Play 7.
