Vivo Nex 2 appears on GeekBench, Tipped to sport Dual Display, Snapdragon 845 Chipset

The Vivo Nex 2, as it is reported to be named, will most likely feature dual display like Nubia X which got launched couple of months back in China. The Vivo Nex 2 is said to sport a bigger 6.56-inch front display while a 5.5-inch rear display, with a triple lens rear camera backed by a round shaped LED flash.

The BBK Electronics subsidiary brand, Vivo, which brought it’s invention in wiping off the selfie camera from the display panel and shifted it to the top section of the smartphone using a pop-up motorised mechanism, is tipped to bring the upgraded or a successor of the Vivo Nex with a dual display panel. The Vivo Nex 2, as it is reported to be named, will most likely feature dual display like Nubia X which got launched couple of months back in China.

The Vivo Nex 2 was earlier in the news for the images which got leaked showing the dual display like Nubia X, however, the device is again in news, this time around for it’s leaked specs on GeekBench. The device is shown to be under the codename Vivo V1821A and with a giant 10GB RAM. The 10GB RAM that we heard recently to be featured in the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition, can also feature in the Vivo’s upcoming presentation.

The leak highlights the previous leaks about the specs and features but doesn’t confirm any of it. The Vivo Nex 2 is said to sport a bigger 6.56-inch front display while a 5.5-inch rear display, with a triple lens rear camera backed by a round shaped LED flash. It, however, doesn’t have a front camera, thanks to the front and back dual display feature. Under the hood, the device is reported to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset viz-a-viz the earlier rumour of latest Snapdragon 855 processor. The smartphone is said to run latest Android Pie version and may reduce on it’s battery size. The launch is set for December 11 and the registration for the smartphone has already begun in China. So, it’s the matter of just 4-days when the company will reveal the details officially and we will get a chance to share our unbiased opinion based on the specs revealed. Let’s wait till then.
