The rememberance of the 10 year old ghastly attack by 10 heavily armed militants of Lashkar-e-taiba (LeT) in India’s financial capital, Mumbai, has become fresh as the 26/11 date marks in the calender. It’s been 10 years that India became a victim of planned terrorism that cost 166 lives and leaving 300 injured. On this day, 10 heavily armed militants of LeT invaded on Indian land via sea-route from Pakistan and carried out series of gun firing and bombing which heavily damaged the human lives and properties. One of the spots where the attack was carried out is the famous Taj palace hotel in Mumbai. This dark day is referred to as “Twenty Six-Eleven” and makes the victims go numb when recollecting this horrific day. One of the survivors of the attack, Mohamed Taufiq Sheikh, appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to act upon the main culprit of the attack, Hafiz Saeed, the chief of Jamaat-ud-Daawa (JuD) and the mastermind of “Twenty Six-Eleven” attack. “The mastermind of that attack Hafiz Saeed is roaming free in Pakistan. No action has been taken against him. I want to appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to further tighten the security. I was told that I will be given a job, but nothing has been done about it as yet. There are going to be various events today, but all those are of no use, it will better if some monetary help can be given to the kin of the deceased,” Sheikh said, ANI quoted.

The ghastly attack, carried out for four days in Mumbai, on the behest of the mastermind terrorist, Hafiz Saeed, has been condemned at international level by India and as usual, Pakistan lies and runs away from accepting the truth that the planning and plotting of the attack was carried out at it’s soil. India has submitted all the required proofs to Pakistan in every form, however, there are no action from Pakistan’s side on the culprit Hafiz Saeed. Rather, Saeed roams free, spats volcano against India through his speeches in Pakistan but Pakistan shows no signs of having the audacity to work against him.
