Another one to attack Congress party was Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan. While taking a jibe at Congress party, he said, “Congress never gave due respects to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. It forgot him, who unified India. I congratulate the Prime Minister that he unveiled the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel today. That is the true tribute to him,” said Chauhan at an event in Madhya Pradesh. He went ahead to praise Patel’s efforts for uniting the country and said that Kashmir’s issue would have not existed had Patel been the Prime Minister in place of Jawaharlal Nehru.
