Vivek Tiwari’s Death was caused by Bullet firing, Claims his Post Mortem Report

The post mortem report of the deceased, Vivek Tiwari, reveals that the cause of the death is the bullet fired by a UP cop, Prashant Chaudhary. The wife of the deceased, Kalpana Tiwari, along with the other family members accused UP police of killing her husband under the disguise of discharging their duties. However, Chaudhary, the police constable in the UP Police, claims that he did not fire at Vivek, the gun was loaded and as Vivek tried to run over him, a bullet got fired.

The UP alleged “encounter” of an Apple executive by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) police on Saturday late night, has turned the fingers strong on the UP police after the post mortem report has been released. The post mortem report of the deceased, Vivek Tiwari, reveals that the cause of the death is the bullet fired at his chin by a UP cop, Prashant Chaudhary. The wife of the deceased, Kalpana Tiwari, along with the other family members accused UP police of killing her husband under the disguise of discharging their duties. However, Chaudhary, the police constable in the UP Police, claims that he did not fire at Vivek, the gun was loaded and as Vivek tried to run over him, a bullet got fired.

“I did not shoot him. He hit me with his car first. I asked him to come out of the car. He reversed his car twice and tried to run over me. I was on the ground and took out my pistol only to warn him. The pistol was loaded and a shot got fired. I did not fire and had no intention of shooting him. The man fled from the spot after being hit by the bullet.” claimed Chaudhary, quoted ANI.

After the incident took media cognizance, UP government intervened and assured of action against the accused if found guilty. The UP government chief, Yogi Adityanath, UP Chief Minister, said, “It is a very sad incident. Such criminal offences will not be accepted by the government. Immediate action was taken; the accused was arrested and a case was registered,” and further assured all kinds of help to the deceased’s family and also for an inquiry in the case, CBI probe if the need be. He met Kalpana Tiwari along with her brother-in-law and daughter, on October 1 and accepted all her demands with respect to offering her a government job, aid to her children and her family’s welfare.

“I met the chief minister today. Those responsible for killing my husband, they should be given strict punishment. He has accepted all my demands such as job for me, education of my children, and family welfare. He has helped me a lot, and has assured the state government’s support for me,” said Kalpana Tiwari after her meeting with Adityanath.

The UP opposition parties stood united against this incident and held BJP-ruling responsible for the incident. The former chief minister of UP and BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) chief, Mayawati, called BJP ruling responsible for lack of law and order in the state. Samajwadi Party chief and the ex-CM of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, demanded a financial aid of Rs. 5 crore to the victim’s family as well as a high level inquiry in the case. He further attacked the Adityanath-led government of carrying out “fake encounters” in the state. “Families of all those killed in fake encounters must be provided help,” said Yadav. Yogi Adityanath, however, rubbished the claim of this incident being an “encounter” and assured of high level inquiry to bring out the truth.
