After tying a knot in a private ceremony in the morning of May 8, Kapoor and Ahuja families threw a grand reception to celebrate the alliance of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. The star studded reception at The Leela Hotel, Mumbai, saw all the who’s who of film fraternity in attendance. From SRK to Salman, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, entire Bachchan clan, Shatrughan Sinha, Rishi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukherjee, Shilpa Shetty, Kareena Kapoor along with sister Karishma Kapoor and husband Saif Ali Khan were present among others to celebrate with the couple as they embark on their new journey. All the guests seem to have had a gala time which involved too much of dancing and singing on famous Bollywood numbers of all time. Amidst so many stars in attendance, meeting an old rival or an ex flame is something which is not at all uncommon and had sure created an aura of awkwardness. Young prince of Bollywood bumped into two of his alleged exes, recent ex Katrina Kaif and well, the bride, Sonam Kapoor too. For sure, the lady of the day has to come first. There were reports of Ranbir Kapooor dating Sonam during their debut film Saawariya and breaking up soon. Suprisingly, Ranbir was present at the wedding and for sure, he could not have missed meeting the bride. Unfortunately, for Ranbir, Sonam is the ex he reportedly cheated on. Oops! A-W-K-W-A-R-D.

Karishma made an entry in a beautiful Manish Malhotra saree with sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and brother in law, Saif Ali Khan.

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor made a very lovely couple in the past and was loved by all. But to everyone’s dismay, both of them found their soulmates in their present partners, Meera Rajput and Saif Ali Khan respectively. The two of them avoided meeting and talking about each other in public for a long time, but now both of them are happily married with their respective partners. Well, meeting an ex lover in the presence of present partner might have been awkward but the two of them have moved way ahead in their lives for the awkwardness to have affected them. 4. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – Salman Khan – Katrina Kaif
Aishwarya came with husband, Abhishek Bachchan, and sister in law, Shweta Nanda in a head to toe shimmery anarkali by Manish Malhotra. While husband, Abhishek Bachchan had to deal with awkwardness, Aishwarya’s encounter was more dramatic. Though, Salman came late and was busy singing and dancing with Anil Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan, but being under the same roof must have led to few awkward eye contacts between the two ex-lovers. This encounter clearly spells AWKWARD for both of them. Apart from Aishwarya, Salman had his another ex present at the party, Katrina Kaif. Salman and Katrina have done movies together even after their break up and are cordial to each other.
5. Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra
Amongst the older ex flames, we have these young ex-lovers who had to face their share of awkwardness. Alia arrived in a mint green Sabyasachi outfit with her ‘Brahmastra’ co-star and rumoured boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor. For Sidharth, awkwardness doubled as he not only bumped into her ex but also had to stand with her and with her new rumored boyfriend under the same roof.
