The Korean Tech Giant, Samsung, is rumoured to be testing a new flagship smartphone which is said to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The smartphone could be the successor to the last year launched Samsung Galaxy Note 8. While we do not confirm the existence of the model itself, a snapshot of the GeekBench score of the model is leaked on the internet. As per the revelation, the flagship smartphone may feature Android 8.1.0 Oreo Out-of-box OS but lacks the information about the upgradation to Android P.
The score on the single core on GeekBench shows as 5162 while on the multi-core as 10704.
If the score is to be believed right then this may leave behind Apple’s A11 processor in terms of it’s performance. Galaxy Note 9 could be what a super fast performing smartphone one may need. The smartphone is rumoured to be powered by Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos 9815. This means that Samsung is planning to give us a fast performing device which can deliver fast gaming experience, multi-tasking and other such heavy duty experience.

The GeekBench score does impress us but at the same time keeps us curious for it’s launch, price and availability for the consumers. At the same time, it also creates a dilemma if the company is launching the product or this is just another instance of mere rumour without the existence of truth. The picture must be clear in the next or the upcoming quarter of this year when the Korean company may reveal some details officially. Till then, we keep an eye on the smartphone world and give you some more updates on the launches of the new entrants in the market.
