The Taiwan headquartered smartphone maker, Asus, has reportedly unveiled the details of it’s next budget smartphone, Asus ZenFone Live L1. Reports state that the brand has unveiled the smartphone in Indonesia on Thursday, however, another report states that it was an announcement and that the smartphone will be launched on May 27. The ZenFone Live L1 is going to be the company’s first smartphone to feature Android Oreo Go Edition.

The smartphone was earlier tipped to feature Android Go support and it’s now confirmed to come handy with Android Go version. Talking about the price, the company hasn’t revealed the price yet and hasn’t announced the phone’s availability in the global market. Although, Gadgetron reported the price may be IDR (Rp) 1.5 million (Approx. INR 7,200). The smartphone is reported to feature in Rose Pink, Midnight Black, Blue and White.
Talking about the specifications and features, the Asus ZenFone Live L1 is reported to sport 5.44-inch IPS display with screen resolution of 720x1440px and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone may sport a 13-megapixel camera sensor with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and an LED flash at the back. At the front, the smartphone is said to sport a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. The smartphone may run on ZenUI 5.0 based Android Oreo 8.1 Go version for the 1GB RAM variant whereas Android Oreo in the 2GB RAM variant. It is reported to be powered by a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at up to 1.4GHz, paired with 1GB/2GB RAM and GPU Adreno 308. It is said to feature 16GB inbuilt storage capacity expandable to 2TB using a MicroSD card. The smartphone is said to pack a 3,000mAh non-removable battery inside.
The smartphone may feature 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB port with OTG compatibility. It is reported to feature Face Unlock system in the smartphone.
