The incident happened in Kankani Village in Rajasthan where the local Bishnoi community raised the issue and an FIR was registered. The case is since then heard in the court and the final verdict in the case is expected in April. The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court of Jodhpur under Devkumar Khatri, Jodhpur District presiding officer, reserved April 5 for announcing the verdict in the 20-year old case, popularly known as Black Buck case.

Salman Khan has already been acquitted in the 13-year old Hit-and-run case of Mumbai in 2015. The Bombay High Court while pronouncing it’s verdict concluded that there were many “unexplained and glaring anomalies” in the case which led to the verdict in favour of the actor. The prosecution wasn’t able to prove Salman guilty in the case beyond a reasonable doubt as it couldn’t establish any documents against Salman Khan.

We need to wait till April 5 to see if Salman Khan gets acquitted in the Black Buck case as well or Court will pronounce the verdict against the 52-year old Bollywood actor.
