7 Issues Rahul Gandhi Must Raise and Seek Answers from BJP Government
It is quite noticeable now that employment for the youth is undergoing crisis at the moment. From scholars in India to world scholars, all have predicted that soon India will undergo what can be called one of the worst unemployment issues a country can face and that the government needs to take notice as fast as possible.
Ever since BJP has taken over power in the country, the country has been in a stir. The oppositions are just paving their way into every situation they can get a hand on to put the Modi Government down. It has also been largely successful in diverting the people completely from BJP that gained extreme popularity in the country, thanks to Modi Ji. Keeping the stir and popularity in mind, BJP has left no chance to lead the nation whether nationally or getting a good reputation internationally. We still highlight 7 issues that along with Congress, the people demand an answer to from BJP government
1. Religious Faith/Mob Lynching
This is one of the most important issues that needs to be addressed. BJP, a party that has a clear cut manifesto of Hindutva is not doing very well at the helm of affairs when they’re not secular. The mob lynchings have taken an ugly turn in the country over the past 4 years and the media is in full fledge addressing to those issues. However, we see a silence stumped across the Government body when they pass no comments over the action that will be taken against these vandalizing mobs.
It is quite noticeable now that employment for the youth is undergoing crisis at the moment. From scholars in India to world scholars, all have predicted that soon India will undergo what can be called one of the worst unemployment issues a country can face and that the government needs to take notice as fast as possible. However, we see little to no efforts from the Government’s side towards employment of the youth and creating jobs for them.
3. Right to Privacy
The only assurance we have towards our privacy is that of the Supreme Court’s statement concluding that a person’s right to privacy is equivalent to his right to life. The BJP Government, however, has other plans. From linking Aadhar to every possible account to the leaking of aadhar data. From banning beef (hindering our right to choose what we eat) to mob lynching, the silence of the Government over these issues has stirred the youth.
Riots have also taken an ugly turn. The past years have witnessed constant riots and protests against the Government in different states. Oppositions are alleging that BJP has been the cause of these riots. It is quite possible that Congress, allegedly, has been instigating violence all over the country to defame BJP. However, as the Government of the day, we expect some answers from the PM. Moreover, if as Rahul Gandhi says that these riots are caused by BJP, he definitely needs to question the Government constantly.
Just when we voted for BJP over the expectations of Achhe Din, the prices of commodities rose. Every citizen along with the opposition party needs to question the Government over the constant rise in prices. Especially after the implementation of GST. The Government needs a clear cut rule system and implementation of GST all around the country. Moreover the Government also needs to publicly raise an awareness about GST to educate people about it. The constant price rise, the negligence of farmer’s issues have also contributed towards the losing popularity of BJP.
A lot of young individuals are of the idea of equality hence eradicating the idea of reservations across streams of education or employment for the lower castes. A lot of people are also of the opinion to give reservations in the fess structure to people who belong to a lower class. However, a reservation based on the caste system is a strict no-no. The citizens feel this is causing a huge hindrance in our education and employment while degrading students who have the merit but do not belong to a particular caste.
Terrorism has always been an issue in the country. The attacks were strong when Congress was in power. The attacks (Pakistan especially) are still strong now. In fact, one of the worst attacks ( 26/11) took place under the Congress regime. However, the rivalry against Pakistan is somewhat different today than it was earlier. The strong international relations India has developed with the other nations is disturbing Pakistan and the nature of terrorism or statements Pakistan passes against India has changed. India has also addressed terrorism issues on a large scale at almost every International summit under the BJP Government. While India can try the peaceful method or the attack method, Pakistan doesn’t seem to leave a chance over attacking India. Whatever the scenario, it is the Government’s job to address the terrorism issue seriously and create a feeling of safety amongst their citizens.
