Xiaomi’s Gaming Smartphone ‘Blackshark’ Powered by Snapdragon 845 Chipset and 8GB RAM Spotted Online

Blackshark is reported to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. The smartphone may run MIUI based on Android 8.0 Oreo. As per the AnTuTu leak earlier, the smartphone may sport a Full-HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Mumbai: The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi, is set to launch it’s Mi Mix 2S on March 27 in China. The news of it’s another gaming smartphone codenamed Blackshark has surfaced online leaking some of it’s features to us. Blackshark is rumoured to be launched alongside Mi Mix 2S. The smartphone has been spotted on benchmarking site, GeekBench, and has confirmed on some of the specifications rumoured online earlier. The listing on GeekBench under the codename, Blackshark SKR-A0 has shown that the smartphone scores 2452 on a Single-core testing while 8452 on a Multi-Core testing. It is quite obvious from the scores that the gaming smartphone will have a high performance machinery inside.

Blackshark is reported to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. The smartphone may run MIUI based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone is also reported to come with 32GB inbuilt storage capacity. As per the AnTuTu leak earlier, the smartphone may sport a Full-HD+ (2160x1080px) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It scored 270,680 on AnTuTu benchmark which is quite impressive for a smartphone in performance terms.

As reported, the Blackshark may be launched alongside Mi Mix 2S which is said to be the successor to Mi Mix 2. The smartphone is reported to feature Snapdragon 845 SoC and an iPhone X like Notch. The rear panel is rumoured to be ceramic or glass made for wireless charging, possibly. However, these are just the rumours, we need to wait for things to officially unfold to be able to rely upon completely.
