Samsung Galaxy S9 with Superfast Exynos 9810 SoC Paired With 4GB RAM Spotted at GeekBench

The SoC (System-on-Chip) that Samsung will use for Samsung Galaxy S9 is Exynos 9810 which is reportedly and supposedly faster than Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SoC.

Mumbai: As the heat ascends ahead of MWC 2018, the tech industry is getting more and more curious to know what’s big can they expect in the grand tech event in Barcelona this year. Meanwhile, the smartphone benchmarking website, GeekBench, has revealed some of the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S9 with regards to the smartphone’s performance.

 




 

The website has shown the Galaxy S9 scoring 3,648 points on a single core while 8,894 points on the multi-core tests. The performance shown by GeekBench for the Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone is not only making us compare the smartphone with Apple’s latest models but also that the smartphone will be Superfast compared to the Snapdragon 845 SoC too.

In a test on GeekBench for Apple’s iPhone 8, it showed the score 4,200 on Single core while 10,000 on Multi-core tests. Seemingly, the difference isn’t that huge to believe Galaxy S9 being anyway significantly lesser than Apple’s performance.

The Galaxy S9 would run on Android 8.0 Oreo platform with being powered by a Superfast performing SoC onboard. This implies that the ones looking to buy a superfast performing smartphone may wait for Galaxy S9 to arrive. However, the performance shown above on GeekBench isn’t official compared to that of iPhone 8 and Snapdragon 845, hence, we will have to wait for it to officially come out and confirm the report. Until then, we live with the belief that the Samsung Galaxy S9 would be Superfast with Exynos 9810 chipset.
