2. It Bleeds and is very Painful

Although there is some discomfort when you have sex the first time, it doesn’t have to be a crippling pain. While some women find it painful, some don’t and there are reasons for it. Mostly, it is because of the nervousness and anxiety you have which makes your vagina tense and tighten. It makes penetration more difficult and hence it results into pain. This is so not true. Nothing except natural childbirth and old age could loosen your vagina. Otherwise, I can definitely vouch for you to not believe in this myth. The vagina doesn’t loose up even after a lot of years of sex. So relax.

4. You can only Lose your Virginity Once

Again not true, especially because the mere breaking of a hymen doesn’t indicate a breaking of virginity. In that case, a lot of us would’ve lost it while cycling. The belief that virginity is lost once encourages people in slut shaming. A lot of sexperts suggest that you can experience a lot of new things in sex. So the idea that you will engage in a lot of firsts in your lifetime is an indication that losing your virginity only once is wrong at many levels.
