Mumbai: Just after couple of days of launch of Huawei’s Honor 7x, another option with 18:9 display has come in the market. This time around, it is Oppo F5 Youth which is launched with amazing features and specifications. To give you a flashback, it’s the same Oppo F5 Youth which was given a sneak-peak of at the launch of Oppo F5 in November.




The Chinese brand is known for tweaking it’s selfie camera feature for giving a better selfie experience to its consumers. Hence, with Oppo F5 Youth, a user can use AI enabled beauty mode to enhance the photography experience. As well as, the user can also use the front camera to unlock the device. To add more glamour to the launch, the Bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha, made an appearance to launch the smartphone. Oppo F5 Youth dominates the front of the smartphone with 6-inch Full HD+ LTPS TFT display with pixel resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and 18:9 screen aspect ratio. Also, the screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. On the optics front, the smartphone sports a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. The front camera is featured with 16MP optic sensor and with f/2.0 aperture. Talking about the software, the smartphone runs an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6763T (Helio P23) SoC clocked at 2.5GHz speed coupled with a 3GB RAM. When it comes to the internal storage, the Oppo F5 Youth has a storage capacity of 32GB which can be expanded to 256GB using a MicroSD card. It is powered by a 3200 mAh non-removable battery.

The smartphone is priced at INR 16,990 and will be available through online as well as offline stores. The color variants include Black and Gold.
