Mumbai: Zareen Khan, a Bollywood actress and the look-alike of Katrina Kaif is currently buzzing around media with her upcoming film ‘Aksar 2’ which is soon to be released. She was recently spotted in Delhi promoting her film. As per the sources, the actress was mobbed and ‘nearly molested’ by strangers at the promotional event held in Delhi.
The actress was aghast seeing the negligent behaviour shown by the film’s team and lack of adequate security. Taken aback from the unfortunate incident, the actress immediately took the flight back to Mumbai the same night after completing her due formalities.
As per the sources, Zareen Khan, present at the venue, said “Everything was going well until the last visit.”
Let us know what exactly happened:
Zareen Khan, after completing her film promotional activities as committed by her, reached the last venue for the day for a 15-minute interaction. But to her surprise, she was left amazed only to know that the organisers of the promotional tour had already over-committed her time.
While the cast was sitting and having dinner, Zareen felt that she would quickly finish her interactions and leave, but now the real scenario dwelled, when she left, there was hardly any security.
Zareen was all of a sudden surrounded by 40-50 people gathered at the venue and the crowd constantly started to click pictures and forced their cameras in her face. She was almost on the verge of getting molested.
While all this was happening, none of the male members of the film team, accompanied Zareen, even didn’t bother to come forward and rescue her. The situation completely went out of control. Even though she was very disturbed by this ill-fated incident, she still managed to fulfil her commitments and took the late night flight back to Mumbai.
When contacted Zareen Khan, she said to media, “I was extremely disturbed by their treatment and hence decided to take the late night flight back to Mumbai after fulfilling all my commitments.”
