Mumbai: The Indian Smartphone manufacturing company, Intex has launched its budget friendly Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ for the Indian consumers on Wednesday. Intex’s launch has come at the time when e-commerce giants like Amazon and Flipkart have already started their Diwali Sale Offers. The best part about the two smartphones is the ‘One Time Screen Replacement’ offer and ‘DataBack’ feature. Through One Time Screen Replacement offer, a consumer will be able to replace the screen from the company for the first time caused damage to the screen. Notably, a similar launch was seen with Xolo launch where One Time Screen Replacement offer was introduced. Let’s look at the key Specs and features of the Smartphones

1. Display & Design

The Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ pack a similar 5.2 inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display with pixel density of 440 ppi. The right side of the Smartphones locate the lock as well as the volume rockers. The design and the material of the smartphones are value-for-money based and thus, nothing premium can be expected. The users can also find fingerprint scanner in both the Smartphones to ease the unlocking activity.

 

2. Camera

On the optics front, both the smartphones sport a similar 13 megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash. The two newbies by Intex sport a 5 megapixel front camera which is also accompanied by an LED flash. Which means the user can expect a good quality pictures when clicked in the night.

3. Software

The Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ differ slightly when it comes to their software specifications. Although the Aqua Lions X1 and Aqua Lions X1+ run a Quad-Core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, they both vary on RAM capacity. The Aqua Lions X1 is powered by a 2GB RAM whereas the Aqua Lions X1+ is powered by a 3GB RAM. Both the smartphones support Android 7.0 Nougat and the company hasn’t released whether they will get Android upgrade in future. The Smartphones come preloaded with Prime Videos, MiFon Security and SwiftKey like apps.

4. Internal Storage

The Aqua Lions X1 comes with inbuilt storage of 16GB whereas the Aqua Lions X1+ features inbuilt storage of 32GB. Both the smartphones are enabled with the storage expansion facility using a MicroSD card. They can be expanded up to 128GB using a MicroSD card.

 

5. Battery

The battery may disappoint the users here as the company has packed a 2800 mAh non-removable Li-ion battery for a MediaTek SoC featuring smartphones. The company claims for a 7 hrs talktime and standby time of 200 hrs.

 

The Intex Aqua Lions X1 is priced at INR 7,499 while the Aqua Lions X1+ at INR 8,499. The color variants include Black, Blue and Champagne.
