Kannauj comes up with ‘Stink Bomb’ to Tackle the Stone-Pelters in Kashmir

Mumbai: The situation in Kashmir is known to everyone. Pellet guns, Smoke guns, Lathi and Safety Shield are the weapons used by security forces to combat stone-pelters in Kashmir.

However, Kannauj based Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre (FFDC) has developed a unique capsule called ‘Stink Bomb’ to retaliate with the stone-pelters of Kashmir Valley.

The significance of ‘Stink Bomb’ is that it is claimed to be harmless to human lives and health. Once shot, it bursts into smoke and spreads unbearable odour which will hopefully scatter the stone-pelters and discourage them for stone-pelting.

‘Stink Bomb’ has been manufactured by the scientists of FFDC under the supervision of Principal Director, Shakti Vinay Shukla and Assistant Director, A P Singh of FFDC. Giriraj Singh, Minister of State for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has been shown the concept of ‘Stink Bomb’ and Singh has already written a letter to the Defence Ministry for its approval. Subsequently, the trial for the capsule has been instructed in the special research branch of the Ministry of Defence.
