Mumbai: The most talked meet of the year so far, has finally taken place. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Israeli counterpart PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday. With a grand welcome, PM Modi was embraced by Netanyahu at the airport. As it was decided, India and Israel inked 7 agreements in sectors like Agriculture, Space Technology, Water conservation. Israeli PM Netanyahu called the two countries bond a ‘Match made in Heaven’. “This is a marriage made in heaven but we are implementing it here on earth” said the Israeli PM.
PM Modi also exchanged a hearty laugh with his counterpart on Netanyahu calling their bond a ‘Match made in Heaven’. In the discussion between India and Israel was the mutual cooperation in the reformation of Water Conservation and Agriculture Sector in India. “We agreed that efficiency of water and resource use; water conservation and it’s purification; productivity increases in agriculture are key areas in deepening our bilateral cooperation,” said PM Modi.
PM Modi on his 3 day visit to Israel to celebrate the 25 years of diplomatic relations, also made his point on terrorism. He said, “India has suffered first hand the violence and hatred spread by terror, so has Israel. PM Netanyahu and I have agreed to do much more together to protect our strategic interests and also cooperate to fight growing radicalisation”
The two PM kept showing affection for each other by calling each other ‘My Friend’.
