Israeli - India Meet in tomorrow till 3 days visit

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is flying to Israel tomorrow to meet his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, PM of Israel. In his visit to Israel, the two nations are likely to sign few important agreements which will commemorate 25 years of their diplomatic ties. We have already seen a video released and making rounds on internet where Israeli people are excited to welcome our PM Modi.

The excitement of Israel to meet PM Modi can also be gazed by the article published by a leading Israeli daily, The Marker, few days back. It states, “Wake up: the most important PM of the world is coming” in their Hebrew edition. Apart from ‘The Marker’, other Israeli newspapers have also given equal importance to Modi’s three days visit to their nation. The ‘Jerusalem Post’ has even created a separate link ‘Modi’s visit’ where they have spoken about India in their featured article. One can imagine the importance Israel is giving to Indian Prime Minister Modi by the special gesture shown by Israel’s PM Netanyahu who is coming to receive PM Modi at the airport. This is, reportedly, accorded to only the Pope or the President of US.

Last week the Israel’s  PM said, “Next week, the Indian Prime Minister, my friend, Narendra Modi will arrive in Israel. This is a historic visit to Israel. In the 70 years of the country’s existence, no Indian Prime Minister has ever visited and this is further expression of the state of Israel’s military, economic and diplomatic strength… This is a very significant step in strengthening relations between the two countries”.

Among the critical meetings and agreement signing-in, paying homage to Indian martyrs at the Indian Cemetery in Hafia and meeting the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack survivor are also a part of the Modi’s 3 days visit.
