Talking about the most awaited section of a review, the camera features and the quality of the pictures and videos recorded through it’s camera. The 16MP primary camera with aperture of f/2.0 and phase detection feature makes it a good smartphone at its price plus the dual LED flash. The front camera of 8MP makes your selfie experience worthy with aperture of f/2.2. You get various shooting mode which includes HDR. Our experience with the camera features wasn’t that bad and we recorded ample of videos and clicked many pics. The respond time was decent and picture quality is rated 6/10.

As far as software is concerned, it supports Android 6.0.1 marshmallow with Qualcomm Octa-core MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 which boosts the performance capability of the phone. It comes with 3GB RAM which didn’t lag while the operation in the Smartphone. We played Asphalt 8 in the Smartphone and it didn’t lag in the performance or graphic processing.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max seemed to live up to the expectation when it comes to its performance overall. However, Asus could have worked li’l bit on upgrading the microprocessor SoC in the Smartphone. We played high end games like Asphalt 8 & Modern Combat 5 and found no lagging in the graphic processing or interruption of any kind. We even tried multi-tasking with various apps simultaneously but it worked pretty well without much overheating or any other hitch. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 wouldn’t disappoint you in terms of performance. Although Asus Zenfone 3 Max is enclosed in an Aluminium unibody, it shouldn’t scare you with overheating fear as we didn’t find much of this problem with this Smartphone. The best part that we found about this Smartphone is it’s standby capability. The 4100 mAh battery will keep you going all day without the fear of recharging the battery time-and-again. We kept the Smartphone with light use and found it drain off completely in complete 2 days. We also used the Smartphone heavily with games, internet browsing, video streaming and found the Smartphone giving up in 3-4 hrs. Calling and light use will keep the phone alive for a day atleast.
