Mumbai: The Finnish brand, HMD Global has finally unveiled the much awaited Nokia 3, 5 and 6 for the Indian consumers. The three musketeers of Nokia have brought the once ‘gone’ brand back in India. In the presence of Media and other stakeholders, HMD Global launched these three Android based Nokia smartphones in Delhi yesterday.
“Nokia is a trusted and well-loved brand across the world and especially in India”, said Ajey Mehta, VP India, HMD Global at the launch. “The new line-up comprising the Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3 is visually stunning and will always be available out-of-the-box with the latest and the pure version of Android” added Mehta, before the Media and the other stakeholders of the Nokia brand at the launch.
HMD Global has, significantly, announced to sell Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 offline via their select retail outlets across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Calicut. Nokia 6, however, will be available for registration from July 14, exclusively on Amazon.in. The Company, surprisingly, has not disclosed the start date for sale of Nokia 6.

Nokia 3, the most economical priced smartphone of the three, packs 5-inch HD Display and cased in a Polycarbonate body and metallic frame along the sides of the Smartphone. With 2GB RAM, it is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek 6737 SoC and supports Android 7.0 Nougat. As far as the camera features are concerned, it flaunts 8MP front and rear camera and the quality of the cameras can be judged only after it is used by one of us. Talking about the inbuilt storage capacity, Nokia 3 comes with 16GB inbuilt storage capacity which can be expanded to 128 GB using a MicroSD card. The battery power is only limited to 2650 mAh battery power.

Nokia 5 is powered by Snapdragon 430 processor and packs 5.2-inch HD Display with Aluminium 6000 series body which is curved along the edges. Nokia 5 flaunts a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera but still, the quality need to be checked before comparing it with the other competition in the market. The inbuilt storage capacity is similar to Nokia 3 with 16GB inbuilt storage capacity and expandable to 128GB via a MicroSD card. Nokia 5 supports Android 7.1.1 Nougat and features a fingerprint scanner. It is powered by a decent 3000 mAh battery.
Nokia 6, the highest priced Smartphone of the trio, packs 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection for the display. With Snapdragon 430 SoC, it supports Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered with 3GB RAM better than 2GB RAM of Nokia 5. As far as the optics are concerned, Nokia 6 flaunts a 16MP rear and 8MP front camera with aperture of f/2.0. The inbuilt storage capacity of Nokia 6 is 32GB expandable to 128GB using a MicroSD card. The battery power of 3000 mAh seems enough for this high specification Smartphone.
