Oppo R11 and R11 plus launched in China, details here

Mumbai: The Chinese Smartphone manufacturer, Oppo has launched its two new flagship smartphones Oppo R11 and Oppo R11 plus in China this week. Though many of its specifications were already leaked, it has revealed many new features that will make you more excited for its launch in India.

Oppo has been targeting at acquiring major market share in smartphone industry with its outstanding camera features. Talking about Oppo R11 and Oppo R11 plus particularly, the two Smartphones pack 16 MP wide angle lens main camera with f/1.7 aperture and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) coupled with 20MP telephoto (2x magnification) lens with aperture of f/2.6.

We begin the specifications of these two of the Oppo’s most talked flagship smartphones presented this week in China.

The Oppo R11 packs a 5.5 inches Full-HD AMOLED screen with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The R11 Plus packs larger 6 inches Full-HD AMOLED screen with same resolution power as of R11. They both claim to have Corning Gorilla Glass Protection for the screen. Both the flagship Smartphones come packed in a metallic unibody with concealed antenna lines.




The highlight features of these smartphones are the front camera features and the battery power. The R11 is powered with only 2990 mAh battery but R11 plus is powered by 4000 mAh battery. The Oppo R11 has got 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB internal memory wherein Oppo R11 Plus comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Storage capacity of both the smartphones can be expanded using MicroSD card. The front camera of both the flagship Smartphones flaunts 20MP power and offer portrait mode as offered by Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus. The battery is supported by the VOOC fast charging which again is a good news for consumers who hate charging the phone time-and-again. It claims to charge 75% of the battery in just 30 minutes of undisturbed charging.

 

Talking about the software, the duo support Android 7.1.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.1. When it comes to processor, the duo are powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 which is the latest one. With regards to its connectivity, both R11 and R11 plus offer 4G LTE compatibility with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.

They both allow you to use dual SIM cards simultaneously. Both the smartphones are available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color variant. The pricing of both the smartphones are yet to be disclosed and the smartphones will start selling from this month onwards in China. For international buying, the company hasn’t given out any information. The Indian consumers will have to wait for these Oppo R series flagship smartphones to launch in India soon.
