Mumbai: Ravindra Gaikwad, the sitting MP (Member of Parliament) from Osmanabad Constituency of Maharashtra is in news from 23rd of March 2017 after hitting an Air India staff member 25 times with his slipper and even, allegedly, tried to throw the staff member from the aircraft in his trip from Pune to Delhi.

After this incidence many reactions came from across India for the Gaikwad’s outrageous deeds in the aircraft. Even member airlines of FIA (Federation of Indian Airlines) with two other private airline companies have imposed a No-Fly ban on Ravindra Gaikwad. FIA includes well-known airline companies like Indigo, Jet Airways, Spicejet and GoAir. Subsequently, Ravindra Gaikwad has become the first Indian to enter the ‘No-Fly Ban’ list of Indian Airlines.
