NEW DELHI: ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) successfully launched unprecedented 104 satellites on-board one rocket from Sriharikota on Wednesday. The white jacketed scientists at ISRO held their breath till the satellites were launched successfully. B. Jayakumar, the Project Manager quoted “This is a great moment for each and every one of us. Today we have created history,” post the successful launch.
The World applauded ISRO’s successful attempt for launching 104 Satellites all at once in one rocket but ‘some’ seemed jealous of India’s this success. On one hand, countries like United States of America, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and Switzerland joined hands with India in on-boarding their satellites in this rocket, China seems to be Jealous of India’s success.
Chinese newspaper, Global Times quoted ““On the whole, India’s space technology still lags behind the US’ and China’s. It has not yet formed a complete system.”. It added, “There is no Indian astronaut in space and the country’s plan to establish a space station has not started”. Although, this cannot be taken as China’s official statement but a Chinese Newspaper making such statements makes us look at China’s view on ISRO’s success suspiciously.
The nationalist tabloid didn’t just highlighted India’s shortfalls but also praised India. It said, “This is perhaps the first widely followed world record India has made in the field of space technology. The Indians have reason to be proud.”
Well, whatever may GT or other Chinese media say but most of Giant countries seem to backslap India for the strong progress in the space technology.
