WannaCry Ransomware Attack has shocked the world but No serious damage in India confirms Government
The Ransomware is a malicious program which blocks your access to your data for a ransom amount. Over 150 countries are reportedly affected by Ransomware attack and over 2.3 lac computers infected by this malware attack. Where the world has tried combating Ransomware attack, India’s IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad confirmed that except few isolated incidents in Andhra Pradesh and Kerela, Indian systems haven’t got any major impact. Director General of Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in), Sanjay Bahl has said, “Everything seems to be normal so far. No reports have come to CERT-in. We have been in touch with Microsoft and others, even they have not got any reports” to PTI.
India and Pakistan go head-to-head on Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case in International Court of Justice (ICJ)
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) started hearing on Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case today. Kulbhushan Jadhav who is awarded with Death Sentence by Pakistani Military court on the charge of alleged subversive and espionage activities in Pakistan. India has been accusing Pakistan for kidnapping Kulbhushan Jadhav from Iran and falsely narrating the story of arresting him from Balochistan on March 3, 2016. Kulbhushan Jadhav is a former Indian Navy official who was carrying-out his business in Iran after his retirement. It will be interesting to see whether India will be able to successfully prove its point right before ICJ and uncover the alleged false story of espionage and subversive activities by Kulbhushan Jadhav.
