Mumbai: The nation comes first and money later, atleast we can say this in the case of Harish Salve who has just charged Re. 1 to Indian Government for arguing in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case. By doing this, he has not just taken Re. 1 from Indian Government but has won India’s million hearts.
Kulbhushan Jadhav who is facing the charges of spying in Pakistan for India has been awarded death sentence by Pakistani Military court last week. India has approached ICJ in a short notice to uncover the lie of Pakistan in Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case. India’s Union Minister Sushma Swaraj has made it public that Harish Salve who is an authority in constitutional laws has just charged Re.1 for this case. Sushma Swaraj said this in a reply to a tweet by a Twitteretti on Twitter. The twitter conversation goes like this

The former Solicitor General of India, Harish Salve has made few serious points before ICJ which includes threat to life of Kulbhushan Jadhav before ICJ gives it’s verdict. He argued that India has been denied consular access to Jadhav and his trial by Pakistan was ‘Farcical’. He accused Pakistan of being least bothered about Kulbhushan Jadhav’s basic rights. He said, “The basic rights of Jadhav were thrown to the winds”.
Pakistan, however, accuses India for using the World Court as a Political Theatre and that Kulbhushan Jadhav was arrested from Balochistan province where he was allegedly asked to carry out espionage and subversive activities.
