Samsung’s Foldable Smartphone may get Launched on November 7 at SDC 2018

The company has already hinted for the same by updating their majority of social media platforms with a foldable smartphone under Samsung's name as their Display Picture (DP). The foldable smartphone, who's name is yet not disclosed, will be the company's first ever foldable smartphone attaching two screens using hinges. The company's CEO, DJ Koh, has also already spoken about the smartphone at some of his interviews giving a brief about their invention.

The South Korean tech giant, Samsung, seems to have rolled up their sleeves and are reportedly ready to launch their first foldable smartphone in their annual event, Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2018, happening on November 7. The company has already hinted for the same by updating their majority of social media platforms with a foldable smartphone under Samsung’s name as their Display Picture (DP). The foldable smartphone, who’s name is yet not disclosed, will be the company’s first ever foldable smartphone attaching two screens using hinges. The company’s CEO, DJ Koh, has also already spoken about the smartphone at some of his interviews giving a brief about their invention. The smartphone, in fact, is reported to be showcased by Koh in the event on November 7. This phone, however, wouldn’t be the first in the world to be the foldable smartphone, the company’s like Royole which hail from China and ZTE have already launched their invention in foldable smartphone with model named FlexPai and ZTE Axon M respectively. In fact, there was a report few months back which suggested Chinese tech giant, Huawei, was in race with Samsung to launch the foldable smartphone first. However, the report started to fade away as Samsung’s invention started to surface strong in the news.

A report online states that the upcoming Samsung’s foldable smartphone would be named Samsung Galaxy F which would measure 7.29-inches diagonally for the internal display while 4.58-inches for the external display. The report also suggests that a Korean company, KH Vatec will be making the hinges for Samsung’s foldable smartphone. One drawback of the smartphone which has come out through a report, is with the absence of fingerprint scanner due to technical restraints. However, we still keep our fingers crossed for the South Korean giant to feature the fingerprint scanner in the smartphone. As far as the pricing is concerned, a report previously published hinted at USD 1,500 (Approx. INR 1,10,000) as the minimum pricing for the smartphone while USD 1,850 (Approx. 1,35,000) as the maximum pricing for it.

These reports may be good for making the Samsung fans excited but we are waiting for the smartphone to officially launch to comment.
