Lenovo Z5 Pro Teaser released, Hints at Motorised Sliding Dual Lens Selfie Camera

In a couple of teasers released by the Chinese smartphone maker's CEO, it is evident that the company is planning to feature a strong security chipset for delivering utmost high security to the user. In the second teaser, the poster shows the word 'Turbo' which may be hinting at high speed SoC (System-on-Chip) or the turbo charging support.

The trend of releasing teaser before the launch of a phone has become prevalent in the tech industry and the latest one in the news for doing this is Lenovo for it’s upcoming presentation, Lenovo Z5 Pro. The teaser released by Lenovo CEO hints at many things, perhaps, not very clear to unfold the signals in the teasers. The smartphone is announced to unveil on November 1 and some of the specs and features are said to resemble to the latest launched Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The slider front camera which is said to relate to that of Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, is the most awaited feature for the Lenovo fans, perhaps.

The first smartphone to debut the motorised camera was the Vivo Nex series smartphone, however, many joined the league even though the report of it popping out even if not called for made the headlines. The pop up camera is basically a trendy feature of a smartphone where the front camera pops up from the top of the bezel when the user wants to click a selfie.

In the second teaser, the poster shows the word ‘Turbo’ which may be hinting at high speed SoC (System-on-Chip) or the turbo charging support. The turbo charged Lenovo smartphone may make the tech enthusiasts excited to see how the proclamation of turbo performance will be lived upto by the brand. A speculation on the first poster released by the CEO makes us believe that there will be a mechanical slider for the front camera which uses a double helix for the slider with the help of a six guidance sensors. The same poster also hinted at the slider being capable to deliver slide mechanism of up to 3,00,000 times. The other details to guess are the In-Display Fingerprint Scanner since the skeleton image shown for the smartphone in the poster doesn’t show the hole for the fingerprint scanner. It also shows the provision for vertically stacked dual rear cameras which is positioned in the middle of the back panel while a dual lens camera as the selfie shooter.

As per the leaks about the smartphone, it is speculated to sport a 6.5-inch display with screen resolution of 2280x1440px while encompassing a powerful 4,000mAh battery with turbo wireless charging capability. It is also said the Lenovo Z5 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB/8GB RAM paired with 64GB/128GB/256GB inbuilt storage. However, this report is based on the leaks, rumours and speculation, we are sure the details will take a clearer picture on November 1 when the phone will be unveiled for everyone.
